Bellucci Slim Aluminium Sliding Doors
This Manchester project has our stunning Bellucci Sliding Door System installed. The beauty about this internal sliding door system is that all the panels have the ability to move across the whole opening. This allows you to determine how to use the space.
From initial contact the client new they wanted a system that had glass as the main feature, they had previously had wooden bi-fold doors, with the issue being the wood was thick and blocked off the light. They also wanted to be able to close off the living room completely in order to keep the heat in.
We look at a whole range of internal door options, including Hinged, Sliding and Bi-folds. After visiting the client we worked with them on the options and figured out there wasn’t a large enough opening for a hinged door due to the kitchen island on one side and sofa on the other. A hinged would also minimise the opening if they ever wanted to move furniture in and out. The bi-fold option would stick out into the room to much. So the fully sliding aluminium Belucci door system was the perfect option.
To keep a bit of privacy we used dark grey tinted toughened glass that was framed in a black aluminium frame. This increases privacy but also allows light to pass through.
